viewing in portals
....giving startled glances. reports are saying that everyone involved took with them a sense of loss. the workers are considering giving themselves up to the ground. 'holding on doesn't appear to be working' whispers one bewildered individual. the crowd seems to be lingering, waiting for the moment when gravity packs it in for the night. all hands were holding hotwires. all heads were looking backwards. all feet were digging into shoes, digging into dirt, flying up to air. how they managed to hold up the front door is beyond this reporter. what we do know is that the sinking did not stop them. they setup shop in the crust, built they're bridges in the mantle, their homes in the core. one passerby asks 'what about their cellphones?' This person was reminded that undoubtedly the signals would offset the axis by way more than one degree. but regardless of the posessions or lack thereof, a new person has been created. one that cares, perhaps, or shows interest in something other than itself. who's to say, except for science perhaps. speaking of science, our new adv........

This reads like gibberish to me. But it still has meaning. I get a general feeling of tragedy makes you care about something. I think I like it.
