harry potter and the half bored prince

So my mom decided to go to one of these midnight harry potter release parties at B and N. Thankfully I didn't stay. It was a madhouse. It looked like akon except everybody was dressed like HP. I did drop her off and pick her up and have dinner with her, and i got a japanese-english dictionary out of it. She actually bought two copies of the HP book. One for herself and one for my aunt. I don't understand the whole craze with HP. I know Josh and Margie are pretty into it. Maybe they'll enlighten me. well...ta.

They're good books. Good storyline and all that. Kind of kiddy, but that's okay every once and awhile. But, I DEFINITELY don't want to go to anything dressed as one of the characters. I save that kind of zeal for Utena and Firefly. Not that I dress up for those either...but I might consider it given the opportunity and costume.

you see, it's all because of JK Rowling's pact with the devil. Once you start reading you're totally addicted and can't stop. It's evil and entertaining all at once.

I read a funny essay online that was partially about a guy who was in line for the midnight release of doom 3: less because he was excited about doom 3, but more because ever since phantom menace, he's been really into standing in lines for midnight releases.

I've been imagining myself developing this into a short story but imagining for some reasin isn't really getting it written.
