If you don't know what i'm talking about, you should probably click where it it says battle royale. It's a link!
I seriously doubt they actually condone battles to the death amongst school age children in Japan. Of course, in Kill Bill, it seemed like freakin everybody had a samauri sword, so who knows?
It was a pretty good movie. And, to be fair, the movie did have a rationalization for why the battle royale had to take place. It wasn't a terribly compelling rationale, but hey, it's a movie. And, I don't think it's any more messed up than, say, Boxing Helena, Sin City (great movie, but think about it for a sec), or anything by John Waters.
well way to take the wind outta my sails. thanks josh. Btw did you know there's a battle royale 2? i have it but i haven't watched it yet. i'll let ya know if it's any good.
