Diet
So i've got it all planned out. Sort of. I printed up a list of basic rules for dieting. Most of it is common sense stuff. Eat lots of vegetables. eat a lot of uncooked food. What i thought was weird was that it said for the first few days eat every two hours. Something to do with a change in metabolism. There are a couple of things i'm going to do that i think might help. First off, I vow never to eat white bread again. *we'll see how long that lasts* Also lowering my portions, which is reallly gonna suck, cause i'm a big eater. Also ice cream. *sigh* I thought cigarettes were a bad addiction. oh yeah it also says i should make a meal plan and have at least ten meals i can eat. This is a lot to keep up with.

Damn. Dieting sounds complicated.
Uh...think of it as a game...or something. That's so lame. Dieting sucks. I recommend finding a vegetable you like, and develop a nice ravenous addiction to it. :)
Come and visit. I need you. :) PS I had a dream about you last night. Nothing naughty, but you were in quite a bit of it.
I've been trying to lose weight for the last year. I've lost a total of 60 pounds so far. We tried a lot of stuff. We liked the slim-fast website for a while, but got kind of sick of it.
I have one good piece of advice though-- invest in a good scale, the kind that is accurate to within a half a pound. Get a calendar and write your weight on it every day. Losing a half a pound every other day is a pretty reasonable rate, and every time you hit a new low it's a pretty good feeling.
The other thing I did was just decide to count my calories. I saw a dude on VH1 or something talking about how supermodels go on crazy diets eating way below the amount your body needs to live which he said was 1200/day, so I just decided to go with that. That was pretty dumb I guess, but sometimes I can go a week losing half a pound a day, and if I go crazy and eat 2000 calories it's not a big deal.
Oh, last piece of advice-- they make 97% fat free popcorn that comes out to 200 calories a bag. That's the best ratio of calories to [amount it feels like you're eating], so I usually spend 200 calories on that every day. The kettle corn is good.
Good luck!
(Jesus christ my comments are too long)
