yay more lists!
i'm really doing this for myself more than anybody else. i find myself saying a lot of times 'oh that movie is on my top ten or top five list', and usually it's a damn lie. So, that i may finally put all questions regarding said list to rest, and also so that i can at least temporarily relieve my boredom at work, here it is. my top ten favorite movies of all time.
also i know everbody already knows what my number one is but i thought i should put it anyways, just to be complete.

9. Defending Your Life
8. The Hudsucker Proxy
7. Magnolia
6. MST3k: The Movie
5. Heavy
4. Paper moon

2. Fight Club
1. The Shawshank Redemption

I would never, in a million years, have guess "Defending Your Life."
Wow.
Wow, I really dislike half of the movies on your list, and I love the other half. No middle ground. Weird. Eh, on the other hand, I liked Magnolia, but don't really have the desire to see it again...so I guess that's some middle ground for you.
The movies on your list that I've seen, I LOVE. I have not seen 9, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, Citizen X, and Looking For Richard. But the rest I LOVE!
why not defending your life ronnie? cause you don't like it or because you didn't think i would? josh i already knew exactly which movies you liked and didn't like, except magnolia. that was kind of a surprise for me. and margie the movies i think you would like that you haven't seen is paper moon, citizen x, and maybe defending your life, unless you've talk to josh. he hates that movie.
I really like 'Defending your Life.' It's near the top of a small pile of corny but earnest movies that somehow connected with me. Also in that list: Joe versus the Volcano, Heart and Souls, Let it Ride. If one were to make my list, it would probably be Let it Ride. My guess is that you also have a similar pile of corny movies in your heart, from which you picked a representative to be on the list?
I like many of the other movies on your list, but sweet Jesus I hated Magnolia. Would it be legal to pick some MST3K episode to take the place of the movie instead?
Awwww! Heart and Souls is so cute! I loved that movie!
i knew there was somebody in our group that hated on magnolia. yeah your exactly right about the corny pile. does tapeheads fall into that category andy? also mst3k eps don't really count because they're not theatrical releases. i haven't seen heart and souls in forever, so i can't remember if i liked it or not.
